Chromag

The Ally is our latest rim offering and is the workhorse of the fleet. Building off the BA30 and Phase30 design, the Ally offers the same robust beadwall and 30mm bed but in a pinned construction helping to keep the cost down. The rims are laced to our R4 hub. The R4 is designed to be a solid, reliable hub with a durable axle assembly and robust set of bearings. We're using a tried and tested 4-pawl arrangement with 36 points of simultaneous engagement. What sets it apart is the large radius that the pawls are positioned on, reducing leverage at the point of engagement.

All Mountain / XC The Cutlass bar crosses categories from XC to Enduro with a 31.8mm diameter and width of 780mm. 220g of premium quality unidirectional carbon fiber ensures that this bar is about reliable strength and durability with a responsive feel. It features a 25mm rise for aggressive rider position tuned with a 5° upsweep, 8° bend orientation. The geometry of this bar now matches our OSX perfectly.

The Dagga is our brand new DH pedal. It was designed in collaboration with Chris Kovarik – one of the forefathers of downhill and flat pedal riding. Kovarik's unique and high-impact riding style inspired the Dagga's key features – our largest platform and widest stance ever. - Meant to be ridden with thick-soled shoes, the Dagga offers improved stability, power and articulation of the bike. - The Dagga features the same high strength chromoly axle system as other models with a double seal, inner bushing and outer cartridge bearing. - Largest Q-Factor, largest body, longest and largest amount of pins!

The Pilot is the union of Chromag's extensive flat pedal design combined with a proven, dual sided SPD compatible cleat engagement system. With a long, 110mm body, the Pilot's pins reach beyond the cleat channel of most shoes to provide a secure 4-point pin contact between shoe and pedal. The Pilot features our F.1 high-strength chromoly axle system, with a double seal, inner bushing, and outer cartridge bearing.

At 110 x 105MM, Chromag's Scarab pedals feature one of the widest platforms available, yet thanks to the thin profile and chamfered corners, it has great clearance. Chromag's proprietary extrusion and machined design provides an ultra thin true-concave profile that is only 13mm at platform center. Custom traction pins are made of hardened steel and feature two height options via the removable washer. A shear line reduces pedal damage when the pins are struck. Featuring laser cut venting, and reinforced knee patches, the Feint Pant is durable enough for the bike park, but stretchy enough to pedal in. Ratchet waist closure, hidden pass pocket and phone stash pocket adds the sprinkles on top.

The Trailmaster LTD features our unique top grain Imported Leather, richly oiled and embossed. Building on the Trailmaster’s legacy, it features the same medium size platform and a rounded uninterrupted perimeter that is easy to get behind and move around without any sharp, snaggy edges. The heavy-stock leather adds a degree of firmness and an aspect of all-weather durability that is unmatched in standard leather tops. The LTD features medium/firm density foam with an extra thick nose for technical climbing and “body english”. A flat sitting area with a central relief promotes sitting on your bones. This saddle is mounted atop Chromoly rails.

Chromag's BZA 35 stem is strong, light, and burly. Featuring a 35mm bar/stem interface and weighing a perfect 165 grams this stem is light yet extremely stiff for positive control. - CNC profiling - Weight: 165g (50mm length)

The Pressure is simply a refinement of our ever popular Contact pedal. The Pressure has a longer body than the Contact, but retains the smallest Q-Factor in the fleet. This makes it ideal for DJ and freeride, but many riders do like to use them for DH and trail riding too.

The Ambit is our staple riding short for pedaling in. Durable 2-way stretch material, and now with a ratchet waist adjustment to provide a bit more room for error after those big lunches. Both side pockets are zippered, as well as the side phone stash pocket. The laser cut venting helps keep temperatures regulated down under.

Chromag worked with Brandon Semenuk to design a pedal that features a lightweight, compact platform body that extends inboard bringing the riders feet closer to the cranks for superior control. The Contact pedal has a very low-profile, concave CNC’d surface that is only 13mm at pedal center and weighs in at only 190g per pedal.

The rim for high-impact riding. The BA30 is a quality alloy rim designed to withstand a real beating. This is the rim for high-impact riding when the trails are rough and rugged. With an internal bracing structure, the BA30 has torsional stiffness for directional control in demanding circumstances. The BA30 features a thick bead wall adjacent to the tire to resist impact deformation, with a wider, rounded top-edge to reduce sidewall cuts. The nipple/spoke bed is oriented to the spoke direction to reduce weakness caused by bend in the spoke at the nipple hole. The BA30 is made with premium alloy, extruded with an internal brace profile and carefully formed for consistent shape. It is then fusion welded and ground for a strong precise finish. A whole new ball game! The Lift has a similar overall width to our wider Trailmaster series however its sitting platform is effectively longer front to back. This paired with a larger centre relief channel helps disperse pressure while reducing contact where appropriate. It’s a new favourite for many of our team members and also popular with men and women alike. It's manufactured using a new vacuum moulded process, which gives a supple surface and a clean edge finish with a glimpse of the colourful under lighting.

The versatile Trailmaster features a medium size platform and a rounded uninterrupted perimeter that is easy to get behind and move around without any snaggy or sharp edges. Medium-firm density foam with a padded nose is excellent for technical climbing and “body english” as well as all day epics. A flat sitting area with a central relief promotes sitting on your bones. The Trailmaster features a supple perforated natural leather top and Chromoly rails for durability.

The Trailmaster DT (Durable Top) has a synthetic top for riders who see a lot of wet weather or for DH and Freeride applications where extra durability is needed. A medium size platform with a rounded, uninterrupted perimeter is easy to move freely around. It features medium-firm density foam with a padded nose for technical climbing and all around friendly contact. A flat sitting area with a central relief promotes sitting on your bones. An excellent model for punchy tech sessions or all day epics.

Chromag's most versatile saddle is excellent for light all mountain setups, yet the low profile design is also popular with freeride and downhill riders. The Lynx DT features a synthetic top and Chromo rails for added durability yet it weighs in at only 285g. The narrow platform is firm while the soft nose complements body english for those situations where the front of the saddle is used for traction and control.

The Mood DT remains our firmest saddle for 2020, but with a few mm's of extra padding it's a touch more forgiving than the previous version. The low profile Mood DT (Durable Top) is for riders who see a lot of wet weather or for DH and Freeride applications where extra durability is needed. The narrow platform design has chromo rails for extra strength while still being very light weight. It features a firm sitting platform with a gentle scoop at the rear, and a roll-away nose for climbing control. A narrow overall shape offers clearance for long distance seated pedalling. The smooth perimeter is easy to move around and has a round edge to set a knee against for stability. Our lightest and most firm saddle.
