The Reserve 28|XC is a race-ready carbon cross-country wheel built for riders who want World Cup-level speed with the strength and control needed for modern XC riding. Designed from Reserve’s experience at the highest levels of competition, the 28|XC uses a wider, lower-profile rim shape to increase strength and lateral rigidity while adding vertical compliance for a smoother, more controlled ride.

This 29-inch wheel is designed for XC riding and racing, with a 28mm internal rim width that supports modern 2.2" to 2.5" mountain tires. The redesigned rim bed helps make tubeless tire installation easier, while the updated shape improves tire bead retention at lower pressures for confident traction and control on technical terrain.

The 28|XC’s redesigned rim bed is shaped to ease tubeless setup, using offset spoke holes that help the tire bead move into place during installation. The design also improves bead retention at lower pressures, making it easier to take advantage of traction-focused XC tire setups.
