Motor, battery, controls and software have all been designed to work together seamlessly to offer the most natural and refined e-bike experience possible. Motor: The DU-EP800 motor, or drive unit as Shimano call it, weighs just 2.6 Kg but can provide up to 85 Nm of torque. Power is smooth, usable and adds to the ride experience without overwhelming it.
